Friday Giveaway!

Deep breath, it’s Friday!

First of all! I’m having a little CONTEST so that one of our dear readers can win a custom blog design from THIS designer. Kaleigha has done some fabulous designs for one of our brides from this past year using her wedding and engagement pictures. When I saw what a great job she did, I decided I wanted to purchase a design for one of our readers as a thank you. She kindly agreed to let me buy a design for whoever wins.

Who can win: Anybody who has had family, wedding, or engagement pictures taken by us in the past year. Or anyone who is scheduled to have pictures taken in the coming year.

To Enter: Leave a comment below telling us what you would do with a custom design. Do you already have a blog? Are you going to start one? What will you blog about? This can be for an existing blog or a new one that you want to start. Once we pick a winner (using impartial judges) we’ll talk about which pictures you want to send to Kaleigha to incorporate in your design. Ready Go! (I’ll keep this open til Monday)

Also we’re going to be at a bridal show in next Saturday. Information and invitations will follow.

Here is another picture of sweet little Norah to brighten your day. Thanks to everybody for being so patient as you wait for your pictures to appear.

Oooh FUN! Oh my goodness would I LOVE a custom design! Do I count even though we swapped photo sessions? If not, I totally understand ;) . But just in case: I currently use Blogger, but I actually already paid to have a wordpress blog attached to my website. I haven’t learned how to do anything with it yet though! It’s extremely ugly at the moment ;) . It needs love.

I want a blog that expresses what I am trying to say about myself and my talents. The moment someone comes to my blog, I want them to feel like they know me. The opportunity to touch someone with my images, to give them a vision of what they will be getting from me and the work I do, to have people ‘see’ the passion that I ‘feel’ everyday. That is why I want a custom blog from Kaleigha.

What a fun idea! I had a pregnancy blog (http://www.prenatallation.blogspot.com/) and I would really like to do a similar baby blog…just to let family and friends know how Noah is doing, give everyone a glimpse into the world of young motherhood, and practice those writing skills I learned from Melanie, Kathy, Bill and the other amazing professors at George Fox. A baby blog would also be a wonderful place to showcase those pictures you took of Noah last weekend. :)

I would love a custom blog layout! I just started a blog about a month ago. My goal is to inspire people to be creative and get them thinking outside the box about things. Such as my passions, cooking, crafting, photography and such. I think having pictures from our wedding in the layout would be awsome because so much of it was handmade and creative. The photos that you two took really captured that. So, I think the blog and pictures would work together well. :)

Jordan Stillinger and I are both recent Rupp photography brides and are starting a blog together as a way to stay connected as we are now long distance best friends! We would like to call it “elyselee” which is a combination of our middle names. The goal of our blog is to create an “online gift shop” featuring unique vintage home decor and gifts. We love treasure hunting together and would love to share our finds with the blogging community. We would LOVE to have a professional start to our business endeavors as Jordan and I have some big ideas, but very little technical expertise:)
