Hi, my name’s Bryan. I grew up in the Colorado mountains and now live in the pacific northwest. I’m a husband to a beautiful curly haired wife, who makes me smile every day. I’m a dad to a little boy named Wellington, who I love more than I ever dreamed. We live in a house that’s over 100 years old, full of quirks and charm, but mostly quirks.

Every morning I love walking to the local coffee shop. I get outside on my bicycle every chance I get.

I also take pictures.

All is Wellington.

Wellington means everything to me, and I’m so incredibly proud of him. Editing these photos this morning I was so filled with love for my little boy. He brings me so much joy and inspiration and constantly reminds me of the things that matter in life. He’s so brave and explores the world and life with every part of him, I love that about him.

Several months ago I had the idea of doing a shoot with Wellington where I let him play with one of my old cameras. I thought he would love it and thought it would be awesome to the tenth power. It WAS awesome, and Welly and I had a blast, but it turned out that the camera was too heavy for him to hold, so all in all he spent about three minutes poking at the camera and spent 45 minutes trying to pick up logs and throwing rocks. So it was just like parenting, not at all how you picture it, but in the end actually better than you thought.

I’m sure all the parents out there know what I’m talking about, but I love Wellington so deeply and having him in my life has been amazing. It feels like he’s already taught me more than I’ve taught him and he constantly gives me new eyes to see the world. He has such a sweet little soul and I just love being around him. Here’s my beautiful little boy…

I hope we all learn to see the world a little more like a toddler today. I love you Wellington.
